I follow Mayor Cory Booker, Newark, NJ's current mayor.  He's always in the media and seems to be doing big things for the City of Newark and P.O.P. sends our congrats. 

I received an email from Cory's office liaison and wanted to share it with anyone interested:


Prudential Center, Newark, NJ





Simon Cowell's brand new show - The X Factor will be hosting auditions at the Prudential Arena in Downtown Newark this coming Wednesday, April 13th and Thursday, April 14th.

Volunteers are needed to serve as Street Team Liaisons and their primary responsibilities will be... greet /welcome visitors and provide directions to the arena and local restaurants.

Needed shifts are the following:

Wednesday, April 13th from 9am -1pm

Wednesday, April 13th from 1pm -5pm

Wednesday, April 13th from 5pm - 9pm

Thursday, April 14th from 9am -1pm

Thursday, April 14 from 1pm - 5pm

Thursday, April 14 from 5pm - 8pm
